I posted a few months back about wedding stress and planning and how to move past it all, which was all true, and you got to hear how stressful it can truly be. But I have to say, every once of stress, every misstep, every tiny issue, it was ALL worth it.
Jon and I had the most perfect day imaginable. We still sit back and think “I want to go back to our wedding day.” The entire day was so perfect for us. And it was more whimsical and more captivating than my “dream wedding” vision. It was representative of me, Jon, our style, and our love, and it was the most wonderful day of our lives.
Each detail was so elegantly handled [my mother is a TRUE saint and had my vision at the forefront in helping me]. All in all, the day was unbelievably magical, and at the heart of it all, I got to marry the person I love more than life itself. So, let’s get down to it shall we?

As many of you know, I am getting married in… t minus six weeks. Jon and I had a relatively short engagement [since the trend seems to be taking people towards longer engagements]. Our total is 4 days less than 13 months. It was a totally ample amount of time to plan a wedding, especially at the size we are having. But let me tell ya… when its down to the last few months. Shit gets real. EVERYTHING piles up, and it’s all about the little things that you forgot about!
