So.. its been a while, yes? Do you even remember me? Let’s hope so! I promise to be here a LOT more now! Because I have some time on my hands. Because why? Well, let me tell ya! One HUGE thing has changed since the last time I posted, I bet you all know what it is… I’ve gone From Miss to Mrs.. aka…
I posted a few months back about wedding stress and planning and how to move past it all, which was all true, and you got to hear how stressful it can truly be. But I have to say, every once of stress, every misstep, every tiny issue, it was ALL worth it.
Jon and I had the most perfect day imaginable. We still sit back and think “I want to go back to our wedding day.” The entire day was so perfect for us. And it was more whimsical and more captivating than my “dream wedding” vision. It was representative of me, Jon, our style, and our love, and it was the most wonderful day of our lives.
Each detail was so elegantly handled [my mother is a TRUE saint and had my vision at the forefront in helping me]. All in all, the day was unbelievably magical, and at the heart of it all, I got to marry the person I love more than life itself. So, let’s get down to it shall we?
What good is this post without pictures, AMIRIGHT?
In case you were unaware, Jon & I had a barn style wedding, in NY. Some details of the barn and the decor are below:
Oh right, I guess we matter, too!
Photography: Millimeter Photgraphy
Floral: Philamy Florist
Dress: Allure Bridals
Lighting/Tables: The Dover Group
Frames/Stumps/Decor: Bride & Groom
I am so excited to be back at blogging, and to sharing in this new *married* chapter with you all! If anyone is getting married, and has any questions about essentially handling a DIY wedding, I’m here to answer any questions! The barn was a bare bones venue and we had to make it what it became! So i get it! Anyway, thanks for stopping by!
