In my almost four years of transforming my health and fitness, I have gone through many things. I began with caloriecounting, and then swearing off all junk food, and not eating carbs. It did not take long for me to realize, NONE of that worked. In fact, it all made me feel terrible, and sometimes just defeated and sad most days. So let me say this..
So this post has been on my mind and heart for a long time now. But to say the least, it has been a busy few months. I have been posting over on my personal and now business instagram about this venture for a little while now, but its time to explain why I chose to do it, and why now.
Ive been brainstorming a bit this weekend, and I was [as per usual] discussing some ideas with Hannah, of So Obsessed With. We decided that we wanted to share the BEST things we’ve learned in 2016 with you! And then it ONLY seemed right to choose six. So we bring you, Six In 16, The Best Things I’ve Learned This Year. This year was one of the most important of my life, and most memorable as well. And the kicker: it isn’t even over yet! So maybe in December you’ll see a top 12, but for now, I bring you the top six things I’ve learned in twenty sixteen!
Laddddies! It is SUMMER! Like, the height of summer! You know what that means! BBQs, camping trips, vacations, mountain/lake/beach excursions it is the season of the swimsuit! AND the sundress! And at least for me, that means I want to up my workout and healthy eating game, and look good! BUT, it is not just about the Summer Season it is about feeling good, no matter what time of year it is! Today I wanted to talk to you a bit about something that we all struggle with from time to time.. This is FitTalk: Motivation!

As many of you know, for almost twoyears I have been on a healthylivingjourney. I started eating well almost two years ago [peace out junk food!] and in addition I’ve been working out on and off for over a year. However, what I have to say may be surprising, but I can guarantee any of you who have gone on a diet, or a healthy living journey, have felt the same at one time or another.
WOW. It is the end of an absolutely amazing year! I can not BELIEVE how fast 2015 flew by! It was the year of truly great things happening for me, and my family and friends! I got engaged, and got Maggie! My best friend has a baby on the way! One of my closest friends that I met from BLOGGING also has a baby on the way! The good news kept coming, and I loved 2015 for that very reason! But it was ALSO a great year in books, in tech, and in food and fitness! I have carefully chosen some of my absolute favorites from the YEAR to showcase for you today! I hope you enjoy them!
